About

“In that moment I understood the singing of the bird, and the language of the water filling in the basin of the fountain, and the beginning and end of the wind that stirred the leaves: it seemed to me that i was a word spoken by the sunlight.”
Ursula K. Le Guin

Resonance refers to the phenomenon that occurs when two systems enter into an energetic relationship mediated by frequency. This mutual oscillation allows the second system to continue vibrating even if the first system is stopped, as if it were an echo. Resonance can be observed in a variety of physical systems, including molecular particles, neural tissue, and electronic technologies. It is a fundamental characteristic of a cosmos that vibrates as much as it does anything else. However, resonance also has symbolic and philosophical significance. The term is derived from the Latin word "resonantia," meaning "echo," and it suggests correlations between the macrocosm and the microcosm, with the phrase "as above, so below.".
